This Dumbo High Rise Apartment had spectacular harbor and lower Manhattan views, but was generically bland before the renovation .

The client, a serial renovator, retained Hofheimer, Inc. for the fourth time to make the finishes exciting. The entry vestibule sports a narrow cement counter with lighted display shelves for a prized miniature classic modern chair collection. The hand troweled cement counters give some relief to the crisply modern hard edged bamboo kitchen cabinets. Custom bookshelves display an extensive coffee table book collection. The master bath is a kaleidoscope of natural and man-made materials — basalt, reclaimed wood, granite, glass and porcelain tile.
